February 20-27, 2010

Unmatched in North America
Ranked #4 Best Overall in Skiing Magazine's 2008-09 Resort Awards
Voted #1 Nightlife in Reader's Poll 2009

The Mountain
Unhasseled Mountain Experience. Telluride's slopes and lifts remain uncrowded throughout the season - so you can really enjoy your ski vacation. In fact, the mountain is so uncrowded that you'll often feel like you are on your own private ski slope.

The Telluride ski experience offers a genuine mountain experience for all levels of skiers thanks to a mix of quality terrain at all points on the mountain. From refined groomed runs to challenging moguls, there truly is something for everyone. Even beginners and intermediate skiers can ride to the highest peaks and enjoy terrain and views typically reserved for the experts. Find out why Telluride has been called, "The most beautiful place you'll ever ski."

Averaging more than 300 inches of snow and 300 days of sunshine each year, odds are you’ll find fantastic conditions on Telluride’s 1700 skiable acres. And forget crowds: the trails are never packed, and there is rarely a lift line.

Long time favorites include The Plunge for experts, intermediate See Forever, and the 4.6 mile Galloping Goose for beginners. Freestylers of all levels can hit one of several terrain parks.

Each of the Hotel Telluride's beautifully appointed guest rooms feature a balcony or patio with sweeping views of the San Juan Mountains along with custom furnishings, refrigerator, toaster oven-microwave, Starbucks Coffee, plush seating, CD player/clock-radio, humidifier, wireless internet and an in-room safe. Ski Summit County Colorado -
Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin

March 24 – 28, 2010
Join other Morris County Ski Club members as we travel to Breckenridge, Colorado from March 24th to March 28th 2010 for a long weekend of late season skiing throughout Summit County Colorado. We will be staying in the great ski town of Breckenridge with slope side accommodations at the four-star Beaver Run Resort.

Our three day, multi-mountain lift ticket plus the shuttle system in town will allow us to ski Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin (a one-day option for Vail or Beaver Creek exists though individual transportation must be arranged). Plus, our late return flight on Sunday provides us an additional (partial) ski day or time to explore Breckenridge and some of the many winter activities that the town has to offer.

The trip price of $1,075 includes all transportation costs, lodging costs, club organized happy hours plus a three day lift ticket good at any of five mountains in Summit County – Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and one day in either Vail or Beaver Creek . Airfare is on nonstop flights from Newark to Denver via Continental airlines on the evening of Wednesday March 24th with shuttle transportation afterwards directly to the resort.

We will then enjoy three full days of skiing at the area resorts. The group plan will likely be to ski Breckenridge, then Keystone followed by Arapahoe Basin (but participants can choose to ski any of the resorts covered by the lift ticket). Sunday will be a free day to spend in town, skiing or enjoying some of the winter activities in the area (snowmobiling, dog sledding, shopping, etc.) before heading back to Newark via a nonstop flight on Sunday evening.

An initial deposit of $375 is required to hold a spot on this trip with a second payment of $350 due by 12/8/2009 and the balance of $350 due by 1/26/10. A $25 late fee applies to signups after 12/9/09. Only 24 spots are available so act quickly to reserve your spot on this members only long weekend out West.

Please send your check (made payable to Morris County Ski Club) along with the form below to Tony Tarullo at 3310 Robinson Court Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Payment may also be passed along at any ski club meeting. If you have questions, Tony can be reached by phone at (908) 393-4422 or by email at TonyTarulloMCSC@Yahoo.com
