Whiteface Mountain provides the largest vertical decent in the East at 3,430 feet with 80 trails and 282 acres of skiing. We will be traveling in glorious style in the finest of motor coaches (OK, a bus, but it does have a lavatory). Imagine yourself rubbing elbows with Morris County’s finest for an extended rolling happy hour followed by checking in to our luxurious accommodations. The price includes a free shuttle and a 2 of 3-day lift pass with the option of purchasing an additional day of skiing. Lake Placid also offers plenty of non ski related activities as well, such as bobsledding, ice skating and shopping galore to name a few. We will enjoy a hot breakfast buffet daily as well as a group dinner and welcome reception. And let us not forget a New Years Eve party to ring in 2010. Accommodations are at The Bridges Resort, a short shuttle ride from Sugarbush South. The ski area features 578 skiable acres with over 2,000 feet of vertical, 53 miles of trails and 18 wooded areas. There are 2 distinct ski areas as well as the possibility of guided backwoods skiing. • Cost: $453 for 2 people in a one bedroom. $383 for 2 people in a two bedroom • Trip Includes: Bus transportation arranged by Banchi tours 2 nights lodging 2 day lift ticket • You are on your own for all meals and bus goodies. • Travel Info: Bus departs from Sheraton Crossroads Mahwah NJ at 5:30 PM. Top Ski Summit County Colorado - Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin ![]() March 24 – 28, 2010 Join other Morris County Ski Club members as we travel to Breckenridge, Colorado from March 24th to March 28th 2010 for a long weekend of late season skiing throughout Summit County Colorado. We will be staying in the great ski town of Breckenridge with slope side accommodations at the four-star Beaver Run Resort. Our three day, multi-mountain lift ticket plus the shuttle system in town will allow us to ski Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin (a one-day option for Vail or Beaver Creek exists though individual transportation must be arranged). Plus, our late return flight on Sunday provides us an additional (partial) ski day or time to explore Breckenridge and some of the many winter activities that the town has to offer. The trip price of $1,075 includes all transportation costs, lodging costs, club organized happy hours plus a three day lift ticket good at any of five mountains in Summit County – Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and one day in either Vail or Beaver Creek . Airfare is on nonstop flights from Newark to Denver via Continental airlines on the evening of Wednesday March 24th with shuttle transportation afterwards directly to the resort. We will then enjoy three full days of skiing at the area resorts. The group plan will likely be to ski Breckenridge, then Keystone followed by Arapahoe Basin (but participants can choose to ski any of the resorts covered by the lift ticket). Sunday will be a free day to spend in town, skiing or enjoying some of the winter activities in the area (snowmobiling, dog sledding, shopping, etc.) before heading back to Newark via a nonstop flight on Sunday evening. An initial deposit of $375 is required to hold a spot on this trip with a second payment of $350 due by 12/8/2009 and the balance of $350 due by 1/26/10. A $25 late fee applies to signups after 12/9/09. Only 24 spots are available so act quickly to reserve your spot on this members only long weekend out West.
