Morris County Ski Club

Webmaster's note ...

In July 1997, MCSC was one of the first NJ ski clubs to go online with a website promoting our existence and activities. Today, an active member's group on Yahoo and new FaceBook page augment our public website. Soon, the club's newly formed Web Committee will take over the content development and coordination of our presence across all these sites.

As such, it's time to step down as MCSC Webmaster. It has been my pleasure to have developed and maintained the Morris County Ski Club's website for the last 14 years and wish the Web Committee the best of luck.

Look for the new site at     http://www.MorrisCountySkiClub.com     soon.

Anthony J Caruso

The legacy website will remain on AJCIS' servers indefinately, but many of your bookmarked links will fail when the club moves to a new server (those pointing to  http://www.ajcis.com/mcsc ).

Nostalgic members may enjoy reading our first web published newsletters.

About MCSC

Welcome to the Morris County Ski Club web page !

Please, navigate around our site. I'm certain you'll be impressed by our diversity of activities. Sure, our name says "...Ski Club", but we actually function as a year-round social club. After viewing everything, you'll have to agree that we offer some kind of fun participation for just about everyone.

For close to 50 years, MCSC has offered: quality skiing trips; local and out-of-state bicycling; weekly outdoor tennis and indoor tennis parties; challenging hikes; golfing; fine dining evenings; performing arts events; rafting; wine tasting parties; and last, but not least, monthly happy hours, which we have nicknamed, "Alive After Five" (AAF). Our intent is to allow non-members to meet and participate with members in public establishments all around the local area and invite them to join us. We encourage people to suggest new ideas for all of us to enjoy in our personal time and allow them to lead the events they suggest. In the end, we foster an environment to meet new people and develop new friendships, no matter what your age or interests, all in the pursuit of happiness.

Our size is about 225 members, but often increases to over 300 over the years. Our demographics consist of a majority of singles, but with many married couples that like to travel with us and participate in the various forms of recreation.

Although this web site provides an overview of all we do, please feel free to come join us at a meeting. We meet regularly at the East Hanover Ramada Hotel on Route 10 westbound. Come by and collect some event fliers, introduce yourself to our members and stay for a little socializing, after the meeting ends.
